I'm sure everyone in the Northern hemisphere is enjoying the start of spring. While down here in the tropics we are only too happy that we've had our first cool evening.
Luckily for us, we can grow things all year round. I have granadillas flowering and bearing HUGE fruit, but no carrots in the vegetable patch at the moment!
The CASology Challenge cue word is GROW for this week. Let's see what your "green fingers" can create for this challenge.
Be sure to get more inspiration from the other DT members ...

Happy Easter to you all ...
... I give Thanks for the life and resurrection of Jesus and Rejoice in the hope of eternal life.
Although I'm not normally a person for using a bunny for Easter, I could not resist the Simon Says Stamp Spring Seeds set.
I made one set for a friend using different embossing folders for the backgrounds.
And one bright one for my son's girlfriend who is visiting from the UK. Lovely Spring colours.

Our CASology cue word for this week is STRONG!
I didn't have any sentiment in my stash that I wanted to use, so I typed up my own. A great way to decide on which font you want to use is the website wordmark.it, where you can type in the word or phrase you want, and it will bring up an example of that word/phrase in every font on YOUR computer. Simply brilliant!
We are sponsored by Kitty Bee Designs. Although I forgot to use their designs, go see what the design team has created.

I've had this card in my head for a couple of days, but with visitors here and a number of house emergencies (leaks, overflows ...) I've not got into my studio until tonight. I'm wishing Kymona of the CASology design team a wonderful Birthday! May your layers be many and your frosting be thick!
And some lovely Wink of Stella to give a little sugary sparkle.
Come and play in the CASology challenge this week ...

The CASology word cue this week is TEXT. I had so many ideas buzzing around my head, and could have made many cards, but finally decided to go with a mini collage idea.

I will also enter this to the Fusion Challenge : I was inspired by the picture.

The CASology word cue this week is MELT.
Having wracked my brain with thoughts of ice-cream, melted hearts and snow, I had a spark of inspiration as I was going to sleep last night. How about melted embossing powder ... especially ultra thick embossing powder?! I have a big pot of gold UTEE that's never been used.
Keeping it super simple, I embossed 3 layers onto a square of thick cardstock (400gms), and pressed in my bold rose stamp.
Another shot trying to get the shimmer and shine.

Oh happy day! I'm so excited be invited to be Guest Designer on the Simon Says Stamp "Think Spring" Challenge over on Flickr starting today. Come on over and join in the fun.
I went the whole hog and used some of their stamps, dies and stencils all on the same card.
Here's take 1 ... super CAS and fresh
And I used some green foam to pop up the inside panel of the tag ...
But then I thought perhaps the flowers were lost on the bold trimmed tag, so when to take 2 ... and added some watercoloring to the flowers.
I can't decide which I prefer. Does the watercolour give a bit more depth and interest? Or just make it more busy?

I'm enjoying the Simon Says Stamp Circle of Leaves die - I know it's going to be a firm favourite.
This time I added Twisted Citrus to the mix, and used the inlay technique.

I'm breaking out a new stamp set for me ... the Altenew Adore You set. Such pretty soft flowers that my first choice had to be pink.
I'm loving the Doodlebug Design Inc "dot-grid-daisy-stripe rainbow petite prints" 6x6 pad. Absolutely perfect for cards. Embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder.
